A memorial service will be held for Bonnie Kelsey at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City, MO with Pastor Richard Futrell officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City, MO.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 Wednesday in Stumpff Funeral Home-South, Kimberling City, MO.
Bonnie Kelsey lived in Reeds Spring, MO. She was the daughter of Claude and Alice Jean (Smith) Allen, born on February 20, 1941, in Bethany, MO. She died on October 24, 2012 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO, at the age of 71.
Bonnie married Charles Kelsey on September 5, 1970 and they just celebrated forty one years together. She was a retired sales lady who was a member of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary and the Eight and Forty. Bonnie was a meber of Shepherd of the Holls Lutheran Church in Kimberling City, MO.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Alice Jean Allen.
Survivors include: her husband, Charles Kelsey of Reeds Spring, MO; two daughters, Kimberly Boger and husband, Buddy of Columbia, MO and Kristina Williams and husband, Mike of Ridgeway, MO; three step sons, Curtis Kelsey of Tulsa, OK, Craig Kelsey of Overland Park, KS and Roy Kelsey of St. Joseph, MO; two sisters, Sharon Judkins of St. Joseph, MO and Nancie Belcher of St. Joseph, MO; six grandchildren, Jason Wilkinson, Chad Williams, Danielle Gunn, Kyle Boger, Kyle Kelsey and Ryan Boger; four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to ALA Girls State, Attn: Deloris Turner, 502 W. Thoroughfare, Seymour, MO 65746-8760.
