On Thursday, April 2nd, is our Maundy Thursday service at 7:00 PM, which will focus on the epicenter of Christ’s New Covenant for us: His Supper. In this service, we will use parts from the oldest liturgies in the Church, even including the liturgy of St. James (the New Testament Church’s first liturgy used in Jerusalem), the Didache, and others.
On Good (God’s) Friday, April 3rd, we remember Jesus’ sacrificial death for our eternal life. This service, also at 7:00 PM, is the most-solemn service in the Church year, with the altar stripped of all its colors.
On Easter Sunday, April 5th, we will have two services: 7:o0 AM and 10:o0 AM. Between the services, our men will be cooking a hearty breakfast, perfect for “breaking the fast” for those who have fasted as a spiritual discipline during Lent.
