The memorial service for Irma Fey will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Kimberling City, Missouri.
Irma E. Fey, whose maiden name was Keil, was called home to heaven, dying here at the age of 93 on Saturday, December 12, 2015. She was born on July 11, 1922, the daughter of Fred and Irma Keil. She was brought into the family of God as a child through the water of Word of Holy Baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. At the age of 14, she received the laying on hands in the rite of confirmation, confirming the gift of the Holy Spirit given to her in her baptism.
In her life and through her marriages, she was faithful in receiving her Lord Jesus through his Word and Sacraments. She moved to Kimberling City in 1985 and lived here until aging, in 2008, brought her to move closer to family in Wheaton, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Larry Turner and, later, William Fey. She was the stepmother of Robert Turner; the sister of Grace Anttila, Barbara Welch, and the late Fred Keil. She was aunt of many nieces and nephews, even great nieces and nephews.
The internment of her ashes follows this funeral service at Pine Crest Cemetery, in Lampe, Missouri. A luncheon will then be held in our Multipurpose Room for family and friends.
