Viola Steward (nee Clark) died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Her funeral will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church at 3:00 PM. Friends and members are invited, not only to remember Viola, but also to confess the faith she confessed and lived her entire life.
She was born on August 4, 1927, the daughter of Herbert and Anna Clark (nee Lesmeister). Viola’s two sons, Verl and Bob Rousch, were her primary caregivers during the last couple of years.
Viola moved to Kimberling city from Burbank, Illinois and became a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in 2006. Having been baptized as an infant and confirmed in the Church, Viola has been in Christ’s Church her entire life. She is now in the Church Triumphant, before the Throne of God, but also part of the great cloud of witnesses surrounding us (Hebrews 12:1), awaiting, with us, the resurrection of the body.
