On Saturday, March 20th, 2013, at 2:00 PM, the funeral for Donald Underwood will be held at Stumpff Funeral Home in Kimberling City, MO.
Donald John Underwood, lived in Cape Fair, MO, and was the son of Phillip H. and Caroline (nee Filipek) Underwood. He was born on August 29, 1935 in Chicago, IL and died on December 28, 2012 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO, at the age of 77.
Donald married Carolyn Jannenga on August 17, 1957 and they celebrated 55 years together. They have lived in the area for the past 34 years after moving from Lisle, IL. Donald was a Chrysler mechanic. He ran D & C Auto and did inspections for the last 34 years in Cape Fair, MO. He loved cars, even rebuilding his own. Donald liked to bowl, loved gardening, riding his John Deer lawnmower, and cared for animals.
