As a Lutheran congregation, we are committed to following the Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions. Rooted in these foundational teachings, we have chosen to affiliate with the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
We wholeheartedly support our synod when it remains faithful to Scripture and the Confessions, as affirmed in Articles II and VI of its constitution. However, we recognize that our synod faces challenges in maintaining this faithfulness.
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church remains steadfast in its commitment to believing and practicing according to Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions. Were this not the case, we would not belong to a church body that upholds these same principles.
