Christ Mass: The Nativity of our Lord

Christmas Day Divine Service with Communion: Christ Mass.  Christmas Day will be Divine Service, Setting Four.  The service is not the Christmas Eve Service and will have a different sermon than Christmas Eve.  This will be a wonderful celebration of the Nativity of our Lord on, well, the Nativity of our Lord!

Besides the normal setting of the Divine Service, of worthy note will be well-loved Christmas hymns, the use of frankincense (one of the gifts Jesus received from the Magi!), the chalice for the Lord’s Supper, and a chanted verba. 

Indeed, it will be a celebratory and reverential service in the Lord’s house.
