On December 9th, immediately following the Service of Confession we will have for that day, SOTHLC’s Altar Guild will host our annual Hanging of the Greens Ceremony.
For many years, our congregation has had a Hanging of the Greens ceremony as part of decorating the sanctuary and our preparations for Christmas. During the ceremony, many greens are hung, which are fitting as they stay green even during winter. These greens symbolize the everlasting life we have in Jesus Christ.
